Ever since the change of ownership a decade ago it has been a slow downward spiral for this place. I have been a customer for over years, I won’t be visiting anymore.Portions have shrunk considerably in size. The fries now on par with McDonalds portion sizes.p for sauces (at time of review).No longer provide fountain drinks (at time of review).Will charge for cheese on chips and often forget to add the cheese. I’ve paid and received plain chips multiple times.A fillet burger meal with one piece of chicken and a single sauce will now easily set you back over £ (at time of review).They have changed their supplier of chips. They no longer have the same taste that has remained the ‘Favourites’ staple taste for decades!They have reluctantly allowed customers to sit in the dessert section to eat (a dessert parlour nobody wanted or frequents). Personally, I think the partition lost them a lot of business.Knowing what it once was and what it has now become makes ordering from them an extremely unfulfilling experience. So, going forward I choose to avoid.

Ordered this with a deliveroo voucher that google sent to local guides to support local restaurants and of course I had to order from my favorite food place, Favorite chicken!The burgers are juicy and delicious and the chicken is super moist and perfect as always!I ordered their fire fillet burger and it was so tasty!Their chips are crunchy and great!Also ordered their cheese poppas and OMG so yummy!Their mayonnaise sauce is so yummy! Idk how its just different!Hats off to the chefs

So tonight Favourite chicken in Slough High Street took £ off us and only delivered us half our order. Then when I phoned them they said they would give me an refund but nothing came through. So I phoned them again from my mobile which they didn't answer but when I phoned from my home phone and got through and ask if my refund had gone through then they decided that we would not get a be getting a refund now. So we have ordered from them for over years and these are the worst owners ever. star given today and their reviews don't look great, lots of bad comments.Also the comments from three years ago and even before that are so different to recently ️

AVOID this SCAM of a chicken shop. If you want your money robbed and want to eat oily pink chicken, feel free!!!You need to take some notes and training from Kilburn Favourites! You leave a bad name for the brand favourites!I pointed at the shop poster £. meal, and asked for specific type of pieces of chicken (as most people have a preference either leg, breast, etc)The staff worker who was wearing a black/dark shirt tried to charge me £. for a meal that’s blatantly £. on the shop poster. He told his colleague ‘., ., he want breast piece’ but thankfully his colleague said ‘no it’s .’. How dare you try charge me £ extra because I have a preference of the type of chicken? I have been eating at chicken shops and favourites (in other locations) for over years and have never tried to be scammed like that.To make matters worse, I go home to open the box and find the chicken dripping with oil and inside pink parts! Put me off, never ever again. TRAIN YOUR STAFF (THE BLACK SHIRT GUY) and cook the chicken properly!
